STRANDED

I started out the morning wearing black pants and pumps. Which was all fine and dandy, until it started snowing (again). So I changed into jeans and sneakers (much more practical given the conditions). And boy am I lucky that I did! As in a terrible twist of fate I ended up locking my keys (the only key, because seriously, why does it need to cost so much to make multiples?) in my car. I couldn't help but feel thankful for the switch as I was standing in a blizzard while waiting for the fire department to rescue me. So thank you jeans for preventing frostbite, and thank you men in uniform for being experts at jimmying locks! 

P.S. Gratitude must also be given to John Travolta in 'Grease', for providing me with a theme song for the night: "Stranded at the drive in. Branded a fool. What will they say? Monday at school...."
