The greenest grass I have ever seen in Colorado!

This look either says "I am a hotel bell hop" or "I am a soldier in the American Civil War". You be the judge! It has been much chillier here lately (see the paragraph below), and for nearly a week it was a blissful 60 degrees. Perfect for pulling out my fall wardrobe (finally)! However, now that the clouds have lifted, the temperature has sky rocketed back into the 80's, and I just don't know how to revert back to the summer mentality. It really must be global warming at work...
Colorado is having an identity crisis. It seems to be confusing itself with a state that has a high level of annual precipitation, like say Washington. Last week, Colorado experienced "Biblical" rainfall, with 15 inches of rain falling in just four days (Denver's annual precipitation is about 14 inches). Needless to say, this kind of put a damper (ha!) on taking blog photos!
This flooding is about ten miles from my house. The craziest part though, is that there is no body of water near this intersection, so the flooding is caused simply by the rain.
